EXPeRIENCE
I trained as an Existential psychotherapist at Regent's University.
I worked as a therapist for two years at Hammersmith and Fulham MIND for long term clients suffering from issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, anger management and relationship issues.
I have worked in bereavement counselling at Brent Bereavement Services for three years and treated referred IAPT clients for short term therapy at West London Centre for Counselling. I held a honorary position through Imperial College NHS trust as the Bereavement counsellor to the Maternity department at St Mary’s hospital in Paddington for two years. This bereavement service provided short term therapy for women and couples that suffered perinatal loss, terminations recurrent miscarriages and stillbirth.
Since September 2014 I have worked part-time as the bereavement counsellor to PICU at St Mary’s hospital. I provided support for bereaved adults and their families who have experienced and suffered a child ‘s death. As a result I have tended to see many couples privately after the loss of a baby or child working alongside their grief and the often difficult acceptance of what life throws up..
